Our Partners

Over the past 40 years since Form & Function began, we have worked with a relatively small number of partner suppliers. Keeping that number small means that we have a deep understanding of the materials, craftsmanship and sustainability of each.

Our partners exclusively build their products in either Canada, France, the UK or the USA. None outsources to countries where there may be concerns about consistent quality, working conditions or environmental issues.

We make every product & vendor selection with care.

Duvivier

Upholstered Seating

We first came across the French manufacturer Duviver about 20 years ago when we came across their beautifully small-scaled club chair called Mermoz. Visiting their atelier in France shortly after, we quickly came to understand that this company, founded in 1840 as a saddle-maker, is at the pinnacle of bench-made leather seating in all of Europe.

Paulig

German-made Rugs & Poufs

For 75 years the German company Paulig has been producing these rugs to the highest standards of labour rights and sustainability. As popular as the rugs are the woolen “poufs”, happy-looking rounds of hand-knotted wool over very dense cores. As footstools or roll-around casual seats, these poufs add a splash of colour to any home.

Barlow Tyrie, founded over 100 years ago, is a British manufacturer of garden furniture. We discovered Barlow Tyrie’s classic Teak garden benches more than 30 years ago and we are a steadfast partner still today.
